I guess I should tell you a little bit about myself. I’ve been a designer for over 20 years and have a wide range of experience. After graduating from Columbia College in Chicago, I worked for several smaller agencies which gave me the opportunity to collaborate and learn from some really talented people. I have primarily worked on print projects but I have done some web design and a good amount of email and social media work.

More recently I worked at Quill.com in their in-house creative agency for more than ten years. Starting in a design and production role laying out catalog pages, gaining experience and working my way up to become a creative lead. As a lead, I was responsible for creative direction on high profile packaging, catalog, direct mail and other projects. Other responsibilities have included press approvals, directing photographers, presenting to senior management, and mentoring less experienced designers.

Sadly, my position was recently phased out in one of several company reorganizations so I’m back out here looking for my next creative adventure! So if you are looking for a smart, dynamic, driven, senior level designer like me, please reach out!
