Packaging Design
My passion started right out of college creating food packaging, labels and coupons for Eckrich, Sara Lee, and Generation Zel (Canadian brand). Over the years I’ve worked with print vendors, created die-lines, and worked on challenging projects with government regulations. Below are a few samples.
Dunder Mifflin Copy Paper
In November of 2011, Quill.com partnered with NBC Universal to design, produce and distribute Dunder Mifflin Copy Paper.
Creating the Dunder Mifflin brand
Bringing the signature product of their hit TV show, The Office, to actual offices nationwide was an exciting yet challenging project. The in-house team worked on several concepts using the approved logo and color palette. The team worked with NBC through many iterations before finally getting approval.

The sku to order is DMPC18501, which stands for Dunder Mifflin Paper Company with the zip code of Scranton, PA.
FUN FACT:
The Office campaign was very popular, which gave us the opportunity to expand the promotion throughout 2012. More Dunder Mifflin products were produced, including a storage box, hot cups, sticky notes, permanent markers, notes pads, and facial tissue. As the show came to an end, the copy paper and other products were discontinued due to declining sales.
A blockbuster hit!
Return to The Office
In 2020 when Covid-19 hit, and with everyone stuck in the house binging Netflix, The Office became more popular than ever. This meant the relaunch of Dunder Mifflin copy paper in December of 2020, but in a smaller 8 ream carton.

Quill Brand® products rebrand
Quill Brand® products were created to offer customers a less expensive option compared to national brands. The original design was concepted by the Creative Design team in 2007 to 2009, prior to my joining the team. In 2020, conversations started about updating the brand packaging.
I was tasked with updating the packaging to simplify and create consistency across the 4,600 skus. The goal was to keep ease of reordering in mind, ensuring all the info is readily available on all sides. The update included a slight update to the brand color, patterns, font, and logo.

Star Wars Print and Copy Paper
After the success of Dunder Mifflin Copy Paper, Quill.com partnered with Disney in Nov. of 2015, with a 3-year contract to create a Star Wars Copy Paper box. This was a very exciting, yet stressful project. We were given the approved logo, artwork, movie clips, and color palette. Our team worked very closely with Lucas Film and challenged with a high importance of not editing or color correcting any artwork or line art. We went through many rounds of approvals.
Working with a photographer in Boston, I styled and art directed all promotional imagery for the launch in December, 2016.
Design and Art Direction
With the importance and quick timeline, we had multiple designers on this project. I created the 2 reams of paper, and had creative input on the carton. Using approved line art from Disney, I created the patterns for the ream wraps. We also encouraged customers to reuse these wrappers with ideas like wrapping presents, bookmarks, coloring, scrapbooking, etc.
The idea of the carton was to be a collector’s item or to be reused as home decor or storage. It was printed on a higher quality corrugated board, which included handles.
The sku to order was R2D2

Mrs. Fields® cookie box
The one thing customers love about Quill.com is Free Gifts with purchase, especially Free Mrs. Fields® cookies. Went through many designs of tins throughout the years, but in 2019, it was switched to a cardboard box for a cost efficient change. It started out as everyday use concepts, but then turned into seasonal ideas throughout fall and winter. Here are a few other concepts.
Everyone loves free cookies.
